NASA Launches Most Capable and Robust Rover to Mars
(Nov.  26, 2011)
Charles Bolden

The article “NASA Launches Most Capable and Robust Rover to Mars” talks about NASA sending a new ship to mars. The NASA ship model Atlas V has been launched with a mars rover. This rocket Atlas V will open and lets the unit with the rover to mars about at the atmosphere of earth. It will travel 352 million miles to Mars. In conclusion, NASA sent a mars rover to mars.

I think this mission is important because this rover could give us valuable information about mars. If we send units to mars than we will be able to know a lot about it. Then we could even live there.

States of matter

OBSERVATIONS
In my compressibility it goes down for gas doing it easily to solid unable to be squezed.
All of them can be expanded but to different sized and percentage. All of them have a definite volume.
Most of them have a indefinite shape but solids have a definite one. Also most the properties have a definite mass except for gas.

World's Lightest Material Is a Metal 100 Times Lighter Than Styrofoam
(Nov. 17, 2011)
William Carter

The article “World's Lightest Material Is a Metal 100 Times Lighter Than Styrofoam” talks about scientist making a very light material. Scientists managed to create the worlds lightest material. Its lighter than Styrofoam. This material, is 99.99% air and 0.01% solid. This material has an density of 0.9 micro grams. It was created at the UC Irvine laboratories. In conclusion, this paragraph talks about the lightest material in the world.
I think this is important because this material is so light. If we made an material like this we would be able to create a lighter vehicle. I think using this material we could make lighter aircrafts to fly in the atmosphere.

Mid-Ocean Creatures Control Light to Avoid Becoming Snacks
(Nov. 10, 2011)
Duke postdoctoral

The article “Mid-Ocean Creatures Control Light to Avoid Becoming Snacks” talks about a type of transparent squid. The squid uses its skin to become transparent to all enemies. Since this squid is a small creature it could be an good prey. The squids transparent skin a low it become invisible. In conclusion, this article talks about a transparent squid.
I think this type of squid is very interesting. Maybe in the future we could use its skin to make us be invisible to others. Its interesting because this opportunity can also help it catch a prey. I think it’s a very interesting squid.

The article"NASA's Hubble Observes Young Dwarf Galaxies Bursting With Stars" talks about 18 new stars discovered. The NASA Humble Telescope has discovered 18 new galaxies far from earth. These little galaxies are called dwarf galaxies. And are the most common type of galaxy in the entire universe. In conclusion the article "NASA's Hubble Observes Young Dwarf Galaxies Bursting With Stars" talks about new galaxy discoveries.

I think these galaxies are not important to us now. But in the future these galaxies could be an important export route. I think these discoveries are now very common since the amount of galaxies is huge. And our technologies are better and better.

This article "NASA Airborne Mission Maps Remote, Deteriorating Glaciers" tells about a big crater discovered by  Ice bridge Satellite. This crater is situated in pine Islands. NASA satellite Icebridge has been sending lasers there to look at it and discover more about it. These observations have began it 2006. But the satellite stopped working in 2009. In conclusion this article talks about a crater in Pine Islands.

I think this crater is not a big problem to us. Unless this could cause Antarctica to crack. The Polar parts of our world would have some serious problems. But for our luck there are still other satellites looking and observing this mater. And two planes that are observing this crater.
